Incremental

  • It must lay a good foundation for
    future success by starting exactly
    where each individual is today and
    building slowly and realistically from
    there.
  • It must be process oriented and not goal oriented, only. This means that the quality of what we do is just as important as the quantity. How we do something is just as important as what we do.

Systematic

  • A haphazard approach will not achieve a specific end.
  • All goal oriented training has to be progressive. This cannot be achieved without a plan and the flexibility to adjust to new life circumstances.
  • A training log is an important tool.
